Tomorrow...

Well tomorrow is going to be a long day for baby Jared. We start the day by getting a 3-D CT so they will put him to sleep for this... so after the CT is done will will be in recovery for a few hours. Then we are getting a hotel somewere around the hospital (dorenbechers) and staying up there because wednesday he has several apts through out the day... it will be a long two days but hopefully we will learn alot from it.

Today was pointless!!

Well we left the house at 7 am and got home at 7 pm... way to long of a day for a quick apt lol but Kelly came along and we ate a super yummy lunch - but I am tired! really not much to report cause all they did was check his feet really... but I did stop at Gymboree and got Jared the cutest little dress up outfit for his first birthday pictures! I cant wait! Anyway I am outta here I am beat~

What's in store for tomorrow!

Well tomorrow is going to be a very looooong day for Jared! first we start our day at Schriners to see Dr. Aonia... he is the one who did Jareds foot surgery back in June. This will be the first time he has seen Jared since the casts came off! Then following that we head next door to Doernbecher's to see a spine DR. I am not quite sure what that apt will be cause the neurosurgan took care of his spine lol... but I think that what Jared had done with his spine had more to do with his brain?? I dont know! I am so tired of not knowing... I feel like we are always told when to be were and not really why... Any way I have a feeling that tomorrow is for the extra bone in his neck... We will see. I will update you guys when I get home, Kelly is going with us tomorrow (Jareds caseworker) She is driveing and we all know how good of a passanger I make (lol ya right!) but she is nice, so it will be fun to have someone to chat with for the day (the loooong day!) Hope Jared is in a good mood!

Whew! When will it end lol

ok so last night DBC told me to take Jared to the ER because he was vomiting his meds and not pooping - so we sat at the Dallas ER for 4 hours! and it was a total waist of time, he did nothing for us! Dr. Seldon is calling in a differnt med today and if that doesnt work then we will be makeing a trip to D... other then that he has been pretty good - we have our apt with the dr that did surgery on his legs and with the spine dr on thursday so I hope that he is feeling well by then! Keep Anna in your thoughts today, she is haveing her plasma transfusion today and needs everything to go well so she isnt missing much school! Anyway I am off to enjoy Jareds nap time by cleaning my bathroom :)

Long night!

Well we have had a little set back with Jared... he is super consitpated! Yuck I know but still none the less I have tried everything in my power and nothing has worked ... I have called the Dr. but havent received a call back yet... well he is fussing so I am off - but start thinking good thoughts for him!

Here are some pictures of some friends we made - They are compleatly amazing and strong. They really comforted Jared when he wasnt feeling well & for that i am very greatful.

Our first blog!

Well I was suggested to start a blog site for Jared and so here we are! Last Monday Jared had sugery for complex deteathering of the spinal cord. Dr Seldon said everything went really well and was glad we got it done when we did because everything was VERY tight. Jared had a bit of a rough start with recovery refusing to eat but as soon as the Dr started talking about a feeding tube he shaped right up and started eatting (pretty smart for a 10 month old lol) which then got us the ticket home :) he seems much more comfortable at home and i belive that last night was a turning point for him because he began to smile and enjoy himself again. For now we spend a few weeks at home and we go to crainial Facial clinic on the 30th to have that all checked out. Also I wanted to add we met some amazing people while we were at DCH they sure made our stay alot easier having them near in such a tough time :) once I get permission i will post some pictures of the friends Jared and i made
